I've survived 2 weeks 2 days of confinement!
Well yes, I've delivered a healthy baby boy named Kayleb. From my previous post, I was talking about my last week of being a preggy and how much I wanted to get back my figure right?! But now, I kind of miss being a preggy too. Maybe that's how most of the mothers will think as well. But I'm still happy that I'm slowly seeing my past figure already!
But I found out that my bones actually expanded during pregnancy no matter how we slim down after pregnancy, it's not gonna be exactly like how we look like before we had a baby. Maybe miracles do happen but I'm hoping to see more weight lost in me. I've lost about 10 kg so far, currently weighing 54kg. But I'm on strict diet and not been consuming much food due to my determination to slim down fast. I didn't know I was going to deliver even when my water bag was leaking in the middle of the night. Due to the small amount of leakage, I actually suspected that it's not my water bag that broke. Hahaha. But as the amount starts getting heavier, I rushed to the hospital with my husband and to my surprise I had to wait in the delivery suite for 12 hours before I can actually start delivering my baby. The pain was unbearable....... I went through a natural delivery and guess what, the contraction during the wait can kill. It was okay at first and I insisted not to take any pain relief. I'm not acting strong la but I was still able to endure the pain.
But after 5-6 hours of pain, I gave up and took epidural. The funny part came about.
The doctor told me to press a button if the epidural actually subside and when I feel pain. So it takes about 5 mins before the medicine starts to numb the pain, I couldn't wait and kept on pressing. And I fell asleep afterwards. But when I woke up, I realise I couldn't move at all ! I'm overdose with the pain relief and had to wait for the medicine to subside itself. I got shocked at first till the nurse actually told me I'll be okay. Poor hubby was awake for 12 hours till he finally get to see his boy and went back to rest. The happiness when you see your own child at the delivery suite can never be expressed by words. You'll know it one day when you have you own.
Nothing much for me to update on, but well looking forward to my baby's full month!
xoxo
